Ways You Can Learn

• TANDEM FLIGHT (click for details) piloted by an USHGA-certified tandem pilot.
• INTRODUCTORY GROUP COURSE, which is 2 days, includes possible initial solo flights, and lessons in ground handling and ground school. This course will generally be held rain or shine.
• INTRODUCTORY PRIVATE COURSE offers individual private instruction. Call to schedule.
• NOVICE (P2) COURSE continues the education of the pilot to the point at which the pilot is prepared to fly without the supervision of an instructor.
• P3 PROGRAM designed to help novice students through more advance skills. Pilots have 18 months in which to complete the program.
• COMBINED BEGINNER/NOVICE PARAGLIDING COURSE (offered as two week intensive or up to one year to complete) for the individual who knows that they want to do this and is ready to head straight for their P2 certification.
• REFRESHER COURSES half or full-day options for P2 or higher pilots seeking to freshen up on their skills.

Peak to Peak Paragliding will provide the student with all of the required paragliding equipment during initial classes (including gliders, harnesses, radios, and helmets) if selected. Student should bring warm clothes, gloves, boots and a great attitude to learn. You can reserve your place in a class with a $100 non-refundable deposit. COMBINED INTRODUCTORY & NOVICE (P2) PARAGLIDING COURSE
For Weekend Warriors or those who can't do an intensive course, we offer this course. Take up to one year to complete. Total cost: $1475 (using our gear for beginning lessons)

Other Course Offerings:

INTRODUCTORY GROUP PARAGLIDING COURSE
This is a three-session course that takes you through your first solo flight. For those who would like to try out the sport. Cost: $290 per person

BEGINNER (P1) GROUP COURSE
Includes up to 3 to 5 flights and a series of required skills. $355

NOVICE (P2) GROUP COURSE
Upon completing the 2-day beginner course, if the student wishes to continue to become a fully certified novice pilot, able to fly without the oversight of an instructor, then they must complete the USHGA requirements for a P2 rating. The knowledge and skills required for this rating are taught in a Novice (P2) Paragliding Course, which includes ground school, lessons in ground handling and a minimum of 25 flights total (including the flights obtained from the beginner course.) The course is based upon the instructional book “The Art of Paragliding”, which can be purchased through the school. The Novice Paragliding Course is generally offered as a group course, unless special arrangements are made with the school. Cost: $1275

INTERMEDIATE (P3) GROUP COURSE
Peak to Peak provides a lesson plan that will guide a pilot from their P2 to their P3 (intermediate) rating and once completed, we will sign you off on the P3 rating. $1500

OVER WATER / SAFETY PARAGLIDING COURSES
OVER WATER COURSES (also known as SIV classes) are occasionally scheduled during summer and fall months. Please contact us to sign up and for more information.

REFRESHER COURSES
Peak to Peak Paragliding also offers half or full-day Refresher Courses for pilots who have not flown for a while, such as over the winter months. The emphasis of these courses is on ground handling, launching and landing skills. The 4-hour course is $175 (using our gear) or $125 (using your gear).
