Nova Prion Paraglider Prion Paraglider :: LTF 1

The new EN A/ LTF 1 glider from Nova is the Prion. It replaces the Primax which was a huge success with over 2000 gliders in circulation. The Prion sports improved safety and handling. With theses improvements, the Prion should appeal to a large pilot population. Beginners will love it for it's great safety and predictable behavior while more experienced pilots will enjoy it's excellent performance in the 1-2 category. The PRION is already certified in the sizes 21, 23, 25 & 27 with EN A / LTF 1. The PRION 19 will follow soon. $3900

Nova Ion Paraglider Ion Paraglider :: LTF 1-2

The ION is extremely responsive in comparison with other low end gliders. Despite the big available brake travel, the ION can be piloted very precisely and sensitively in thermals.

The glider is well damped and the brake travel before stalling the wing is very long, so beginners and low air-time pilots can enjoy safe and relaxed flights. Due to the precise and agile handling characteristics, the wing is responsive enough for even more experienced pilots to enjoy.

If you fly in turbulent conditions, you will immediately notice the directional stability through bumpy air. In combination with the very responsive brake, thermalling the ION is very relaxed and easy. $3900

NOVA Factor paraglider Factor :: DHV 2

When developing the FACTOR, the NOVA team wanted more dynamic handling with less damping along with predictable and safe behaviour, which would not overstrain any pilot of the FACTOR's target group.

The outcome of this development is the FACTOR with a very balanced and easy handling characteristic. The brake pressure is rather small and you can fly the FACTOR with little brake travel efficiently also in strong thermal conditions. Even on the lower end of the weight range the FACTOR can be thermalled precisely. Also dynamic manoeuvres can be executed surprisingly clean with low wing loading. $4300

NOVA Triton paraglider TRITON :: DHV 2-3

Anyone who expects a tough “high performance” handling characteristic will be surprised how playful and easy the wing can be piloted. With small brake inputs the TRITON can be thermalled very precisely, no matter how wide or narrow, flat or steep the glider is flown.

Advanced pilots will feel comfortable immediately and will therefore be able to use the full potential of the wing even in difficult conditions. The TRITON shows its handling strength best in narrow and strong thermals. It is surprisingly easy to bank up any time towards the centre of the thermals core.

But the TRITON is at its most impressive when dealing with flying accelerated through turbulent air. The wing is very stable and track adherent with an outstanding glide performance. The accelerator can be operated easily which allows effective correction of pitch movements with the speed bar, as well as flying accelerated for a long time without fatigue. The wings feedback stays precise during accelerated flight so threatening collapses can be foreseen and prevented. $4600

NOVA Mentor paraglider Mentor :: DHV 1-2

The MENTOR doesn’t only offer superior performance. With its easy handling and flight behavior, the wing offers this performance to a large group of pilots. In combination with the easy handling, the MENTOR offers relaxed flying fun for regularly flying pilots at a very high performance level.

Even in strong thermals, the MENTOR has enough handling reserves for tight turns whenever you need them. A little more brake and some weight shift is enough for the MENTOR to react with very little delay and you find yourself in an immediate high-banked turn. NOVA was able to reduce the effect of being pushed out of strong thermals, compared to the MAMBOO. Overall, the test team had lots of fun with this wing, and we are quite sure you will have fun too! $4100

NOVA International's Ibex Mountain Paraglider Ibex Mountain Paraglider

IBEX – the Latin root of the Capricorn (wild mountain goat) – is the new wing for alpinists and paragliding globetrotters. The design is based on the ROOKIE, which has gained an excellent reputation as a low-level DHV class 1–2 wing. The IBEX sports a 15 m2 surface and an impressively low weight of 2988 grams. But best of all, this featherweight wing packs extremely small, is safe to fly and allows launching at a wide range of wind conditions. Rather than typical lightweight mountaineering wings, NOVA dares to give full warranty! Available in three sizes. $3700

Note: NOVA is planning to DHV certify all three sizes of the IBEX. Definite information will be availble after the DHV test flights.

NOVA International's Ibex Mountain Paraglider
NOVA Shockwave Paraglider Shockwave

The Nova SHOCKWAVE has a special airfoil, that is why it is such a stabile cannopy which is very resistant to collapsing. A very high wing load is required for such a concept to work, which in turn produces the static stiffness of the profile.

With only two mainlines per side and three line - levels (a,b,c) the shockwave has an extremly reduced line concept that specially benefits the performance at high speed.

The chosen line geometry is a guaranty for an equal load distribution on the whole wingspan.

The construction allows a very low minimum speed, which makes the take off and landing a lot easier. Also is the lower flyable minimum speed an easement in thermal flights. One size for 50-120k. $3700

NOVA Speedmax paramotor glider

The trim riser on the SPEEDMAX enables an efficient speed adjustment.
Speedmax Paramotor Glider :: DULV

The SPEEDMAX is a specially designed motor wing with an outstanding safety at very high wing loads. It offers an extremely big legal load range, exceptional performance and very high stability around all axes.

The SPEEDMAX is a straightforward wing concept: simple, easy but very optimized and effective.

The main technical features are:

  • slightly reflex airfoil: good pitch stability but also exceptional high lift performance
  • optimized wing curve and stabilizer shape: very good roll stability
  • basic concept with high safety level: very safe even with extremely high wing loading (up to 7.9kg/sqm)
  • extra strong line attachment points, reinforcements and lines
  • effective trim riser, optional 2 suspension risers (long and short in one)
  • tested and certified max. loaded with open trimmers
  • extremely big legal load-range
  • heavy duty GELVENOR silikon material.
